The man behind the ‘Martine’ stories passed away today. He created the stories and illustrations from the books which i always thought where wonderfull. I always adored his illustrations so much, he had an amazing talent with drawing his characters full with expression and feeling. And the stories where amusing too when i was a kid!

R.I.P. Marcel Marlier, the ‘Martine’ books and it’s illustrations where an sort of inspiration to me when i was a kid. :’)
